Nigeria's friendly against Burkina Faso cancelled.
Nigeria's friendly
against Burkina Faso, scheduled for next week in London has been cancelled.
This was made known by
the NFF who explained that the cancellation was due to visa issues affecting
travelling players.
It revealed that seven
Burkinabe players failed to secure British entry visas, forcing Monday's match
at Barnet in north London to be cancelled.
The friendly match is
part of preparations geared towards preparations for remaining qualifiers which
include the 2018 World Cup and the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
