Acting President Meets With Religious And Communities Leaders in Kaduna state
In a move to put an end to the killings in Southern
Kaduna, Acting President, Proffessor. Yemi Osinbajo, has met with major
stakeholders in the Kaduna State
Professor Osinbajo met with the Christian Association of
Nigeria, the Jama’atu Nasril Islam, the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders
Association and some members of the affected communities at the Sir Kashim
Ibrahim Government House, after an inspection of the Kaduna Airport.
The Acting president who noted that it was impossible to
understand and proffer solutions to the problem in one meeting, stated that he
has proposed to be a part of a solution aimed at listening to each group before
getting everyone together.
In his remarks, the state chairman of the christain
association of Nigeria, reverend George Dodo, thanked the acting President and
the state governor, Nasir el-Rufai, for making moves to find a lasting solution
to the crisis in the southern part of the state.
